Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Moana Lisa Howard, 38, of Lake Havasu City, Monday (5/8) evening for DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15% and less than 20% and extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .20%, misdemeanors. Approximately 10:18 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of London Bridge Road and Lake Drive. Deputies contacted Howard, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Howard. During conversations with Howard, she admitted to having 5 beers. Following the field sobriety tests (FST’s), Howard was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County District III Substation where an analysis revealed her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) to be .315%. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
