On July 28, 2014 at approximately 5:35 p.m. detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), and the Criminal Investigations Bureau served a search warrant at a residence in the 3800 block of Surrey Hills Lane. The search warrant came as a result of an ongoing investigation.
During the search warrant detectives located and seized approximately 23 grams of heroin (with an approximate street value of $4,600), four suboxone pills, drug paraphernalia and $400 cash. arresteded during the investigation were 22-year old Ashley Foss and 46-year old Kimberly Fresh, both Lake Havasu City residents.
Foss was charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a failure to comply (FAILURE TO COMPLY) warrant. Fresh was charged with possession of narcotic drugs, a failure to appear (FAILURE TO APPEAR) warrant, and an FAILURE TO COMPLY warrant.
At their initial appearances, Foss was held without bond due to being out on bond from a prior arrest. Foss was also sentenced to 180 days in the Mohave County Jail for her warrant. Fresh was held on a $4,000 cash only bond for the FAILURE TO APPEAR warrant, $4,000 cash only bond for the FAILURE TO COMPLY warrant, and a $15,000 bond for the narcotics charge. Both were transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
