PRESS RELEASE: Search Warrant Nets Heroin Seized by Police

PLEASE NOTE: All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The mugshots and arrest records published on are not an indication of guilt, or evidence that an actual crime has been committed.

On July 28, 2014 at approximately 5:35 p.m. detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), and the Criminal Investigations Bureau served a search warrant at a residence in the 3800 block of Surrey Hills Lane. The search warrant came as a result of an ongoing investigation.

During the search warrant detectives located and seized approximately 23 grams of heroin (with an approximate street value of $4,600), four suboxone pills, drug paraphernalia and $400 cash. Arresteded during the investigation were 22-year old Ashley Foss and 46-year old Kimberly Fresh, both Lake Havasu City residents.

Foss was charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a failure to comply (FAILURE TO COMPLY) warrant. Fresh was charged with possession of narcotic drugs, a failure to appear (FAILURE TO APPEAR) warrant, and an FAILURE TO COMPLY warrant.

At their initial appearances, Foss was held without bond due to being out on bond from a prior arrest. Foss was also sentenced to 180 days in the Mohave County Jail for her warrant. Fresh was held on a $4,000 cash only bond for the FAILURE TO APPEAR warrant, $4,000 cash only bond for the FAILURE TO COMPLY warrant, and a $15,000 bond for the narcotics charge. Both were transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

The above may only be a temporary place holder for the full arrest report details. The term "Arrest" may be legally interchangable with the term "Cite & Release" - the latter is legally still an Arrest. Arrest Reports are received anywhere from 1-day to 2-weeks after an arrest. An arrest will not be posted if LHCPD is looking for additional subjects related to the case or if LHCPD does not want to jeopardize any additional cases that may be linked to the original incident. Please check back for updates.
