Aggravated Harassment Felony Arrest For Havasu Man

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lawrence Alan Colwell Jr., 23, of Lake Havasu City, early Wednesday (2/3) evening for aggravated harassment, a felony, and disorderly conduct per domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Approximately 5:11 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 3000 block of E Diane Drive. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party. The RP said that she and her mother had gotten into an argument with Colwell, her brother. The RP further said that they have an order of protection against Colwell and he left walking after their argument occurred. Deputies confirmed the order of protection to be valid. During the investigation, Colwell returned to the residence. During conversations with Colwell, he said that he is aware of the order of protection. Further conversations with Colwell, he said he was in the area and he had no other place to go. Colwell was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
