On Tuesday February 2nd at approximately 11:50 PM Steven Muth was Cited & Released at Walgreens located at South Lake Havasu Avenue after he was contacted driving his white 1988 Chevy truck with a false license plate year sticker taped to the license plate so poorly it was about to fall off. The expiration of the license plate was 10-2015. A database check showed Muth had been cited in the same vehicle for no registration and no proof of insurance during an accident that occurred on 1/8/2016. It appeared that Muth placed a false year sticker on the license plate to avoid police detection due to the expired registration. The information on the registration sticker returned to a 2003 Ford Sedan.

Muth was Cited and Released on scene for displaying a fictitious license plate, expired registration, no mandatory insurance, and failure to display a drivers license.

The license plate was seized as evidence. The truck was towed from the scene.
