Female Arrested for Organized Retail Theft from Walmart

Monday, January 11th at approximately 8:21 PM Ashley Marie Fixmer, 32, out of Lake Havasu City was arrested for Organized Retail Theft at Walmart, located at 5695 Highway 95 after she removed several packages of batteries from Walmart the day prior without paying, then returned them for a refund using an old receipt. The total price for the fraudulent return was $18.21.

Walmart customer service was tipped off when one of the packs she was attempting to return was the wrong brand and therefore didn’t match the receipt. She then took that package of batteries and placed them into her purse. The package of batteries is valued at $5.97

Fixmer was arrested and transported to the Lake Havasu City Jail without incident. Fixmer exercised her right to remain silent without a lawyer present. She was booked and held for court.
