Havasu Man Arrested for 3 Domestic Violence Charges After Altercation with Victim

Tuesday May 31st at approximately 11:50 suspect Daniel Amos Harmon VII, 32, out of Lake Havasu City committed Domestic Violence Assault, Domestic Violence Disorderly Conduct, and Domestic Violence Preventing The Use of a Telephone in an Emergency after he got upset at the victim about the discipline of her two children. This argument escalated into Harmon trying to discipline the children by forcing his way past the victim by pushing her nick and forcing her to the ground. The victim tried to call the police however, Harmon grabbed her cell phone and destroyed it by smashing it against one of the children’s beds inside the bedroom. During the dispute two children were present inside the room. This occurred at a residence on Bluegrass Drive.

Daniel was transported to the Emergency Room for a broken leg that was caused during the altercation. Officers responded on Wednesday June 1st to the Hospital to interview Daniel, at which time he was served a Citation and an Order of Protection which the victim took out against him.
