Havasu Man Arrested for on DUI Charges after Running Stop Signs

On Saturday April 23rd at approximately 12:25 AM Gregory Scott Cummins, 37, out of Lake Havasu City was arrested in the area of Scout Drive and War Eagle drive for DUI Slightest Degree, DUI .08%, and Extreme DUI .15% after he was stopped for a civil traffic violation (stop sign) and found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor. Upon contact Cummins was observed to have blood shot water eyes, slow slurred speech, slow deliberate movements, and a moderate odor of an intoxicating liquor emitting from his breath as he spoke, and poor performance on his SFST’s.

At the station, a breathalyzer test resulted in .150% BAC.

The vehicle was released to a family member on scene.
