On Thursday March 17th at approximately 10:45 PM William Lee Weatherholt III, 25, out of Lake Havasu City was arrested at Wings Loop Alley for Driving Under the Influence after he was contacted during a disorderly subject investigation and was observed driving the vehicle described by the reporting party. Upon contact, Weatherholt was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of spirituous liquor. Weatherholt III refused all Standard Field Sobriety Tests and a Search Warrant for Blood was obtained.

During investigation, Weatherholt III became argumentative and stated several times he did not understand the officers questions. He then began to raise the level of his voice and became belligerent, repeating the questions given multiple times and even accusing the officers of driving impaired and shouting profanities at the officers.

Weatherholt III was transported to the Lake Havasu City Jail. Upon arrival, he had to be dragged across the floor due to him refusing to stand up and walk. He was held down for the blood draw.

Weatherholt’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
