Havasu Man Speeding over 90 MPH Arrested

On Wednesday February 16th at 8:09 AM, Ruben James Barraza, 32, out of Lake Havasu City was arrested for Criminal Speeding after he was observed driving a green 2015 Dodge Challenger in excess of 90 MPG in a posted 35 MPH zone. This occurred in the 100 block of Lake Havasu Avenue North. When stopped and asked why he was speeding he replied, “just being an idiot”. Barraza was transported to the Lake Havasu City Jail, Booked, and Held for court. Quality Towing responded to the scene to take possession of the vehicle.
