Saturday evening Lake Havasu City Police arrested 71 year-old Warren Lee Holan at N. Highway 95 after he hit a street sign near Airport Centre Blvd causing major damage to the front end of his blue Dodge Caravan with a shattered windshield and then fled the scene and was found to have slurred speech, red watery eyes, and a strong odor of an intoxicating beverage emitting from his breath. When asked, Holan admitted to having consumed at least a 6-Pack of Beer, and self rated himself at a level 6 out of 10 (0 being completely sober and 10 being totally drunk).

Holan was placed under arrest and charged with DUI, DUI above .08, Extreme DUI above .15, Extreme DUI above .20 and Hit & Run. Holan’s vehicle was towed from the scene. Intoxilyzer 8000 at the Police Station resulted in .235 and .230.
