Horning, Cleatus — Aggressive Animal

ON 11/28/2015 AT APPROXIMATELY 1038 HOURS I RESPONDED TO ___ ALIBI DR FOR REPORT OF A DOG BITE.

UPON ARRIVAL, I MADE CONTACT WITH ________ WHO INTRODUCED ME TO _______.

– __________ STATED SHE WAS WALKING DOWN ANITA AVE AND A DOG HAD RUN OUT FROM BEHIND A GATE AND BIT HER.

– __________ STATED SHE TRIED TO DEFEND HERSELF AND THE DOG BIT HER ON THE ARM AND THEN ON HER LEFT AND RIGHT HAMSTRINGS.

– __________ STATED THAT THE PUNCTURES ON HER LEGS BROKE THE SKIN AND ARE PROBABLY GOING TO NEED STITCHES.

I DID NOT SEE THE HAMSTRING INJURIES BUT I SAW AN ABRASIVE WOUND ON ELBOW.

I ADVISED __________ WHERE LAKE HAVASU REGIONAL HOSPITAL WAS AND SHE DROVE HERSELF TO BE SEEN.

WAS ABLE TO DIRECT ME TO THE RESIDENCE OF WHERE THE DOG LIVES.

I THEN PROCEEDED TO _____ ANITA AVE.

A CHECK OF THE ONLINE PET DATA BASE SHOWED NO VACCINATIONS AND NO LICENSES FOR THE RESIDENCE.

I THEN MADE CONTACT WITH HORNING AND ADVISED HIM OF THE COMPLAINT.

HORNING WAS AWARE THAT HIS DOG HAD RAN OUTSIDE OF THEIR GATE AND BIT SOMEONE.

– HORNING STATED THE DOG IS A MALE AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD, BROWN AND WHITE IN COLOR,
APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS OLD.

– HORNING ALSO STATED THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY RECORDS FOR THE DOG AND HE WILL TAKE IT TO A VETERINARIAN FOR VACCINATIONS WHEN HE RECEIVES HIS PAY CHECK ON TUESDAY, 12/01/2015.

– I ADVISED CLEATUS HE COULD BE RECEIVING A CITATION FOR THE ANIMAL LICENSING, VACCINATIONS, AND THE ANIMAL BITE.

– I ALSO ADVISED CLEATUS THAT HIS DOG COULD END UP BEING SEIZED AND ANY FEES INVOLVED WOULD HAVE TO BE PAID FOR.

– I ISSUED A HOME QUARANTINE AGREEMENT STARTING ON 11/28/2015 WITH A RELEASE DATE OF 12/08/2015.
