Lawrence Colwell Jr. of Wildomar California arrested for Aggravated and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lawrence Alan Colwell Jr., 23, of Wildomar, CA, Sunday (7/24) evening for aggravated harassment and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Approximately 8:56 p.m., deputies responded to a contempt of court call at a residence in the 3000 block of N Diane Drive. While enroute, deputies contacted the reporting party, a 29-year-old female victim. The victim said that she has an order of protection against Colwell which includes her residence located in the 3000 block of N Diane Drive. The victim further said that she is not home, but her mother went to her residence and found Colwell inside. The victim advised that Colwell violated the court order on July 18th and he was later released from jail on July 22nd. Deputies confirmed the order of protection to be valid. Upon arrival, deputies contacted Colwell. During conversations with Colwell, he said it was his family home and he always has access. Colwell was taken into custody without incident. Deputies found Colwell to have been in possession of a glass pipe with residue. A computer check showed several incidents involving the order of protection and Colwell’s last incident was on July 18th. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
