Littering Investigation Lands Peach Springs Woman In Jail for Warrant

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Marcella Mae Heathman, 39, of Peach Springs, Monday (2/29) morning on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Approximately 7:30 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of W Acoma Boulevard and Kiowa Avenue for a littering violation. During the investigation, deputies learned Heathman be have an active warrant as a result of a records check. Heathman was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

The driver was given a warning for littering.
