Man Arrested for Extreme DUI

On Friday May 13th at approximately 7:38 PM Michael James Vercruse, 54, was arrested near the intersection of N. Acoma Blvd. and Clarke Drive for Slightest DUI, DUI above .08, and Extreme DUI above .15 after he was contacted as the driver during a civil traffic stop and the investigation revealed that he was operating the vehicle under the extreme influence of spirituous liquor.

Vercruse was transported to the Lake Havasu City Jail where he gave a breath sample through the Intoxilyzer 8000 which revealed a .162 and .158 BAC.
