Man of Legal Drinking Age Detained During Investigation of Underage Consumption Arrested For Failing To Provide Truthful Information

On Sunday, May 29th at approximately 12:46 AM Joseph Nathaniel Mena, 21, out of Miami Florida was arrested at 1480 Queens Bay for refusing to provide a truthful name when lawfully detained after he provided a false name of “Joseph Jenena” and a date of birth with multple months. Mena was originally detained for suspicion of underage consumption and eventually provided a truthful name once he arrived at the Lake Havasu City Jail.

Once Mena was found using NCIC and the original detention of Underage Consumption was unfounded, a PBT was conducted at the jail with a result of .224% BAC. A criminal citation was cleared by arrest.
