Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Duane Thomas Price, 23, and Regina Frances Whitaker, 25, both of Lake Havasu City, early Tuesday (2/23) evening. Price and Whitaker were each arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Lake Havasu City Municipal Court. Approximately 5:35 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to stop at a posted stop sign on Lake Drive and Pero Drive. Deputies contacted Price, the driver. Price was taken into custody without incident after a records check showed him to have an active warrant. Price’s girlfriend, Whitaker responded to take custody of Price’s vehicle. A records check showed Whitaker to have an active warrant. Whitaker was taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
