MCSO Arrests Havasu Man on Drug Charges and Warrant

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael Albert Samaniego, 48, of Lake Havasu City, early Sunday (5/8) morning for possession of dangerous drugs and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, along with a failure to pay fines misdemeanor warrant issued by Lake Havasu City Justice Court. Approximately 1:20 a.m., deputies contacted a male subject walking north on London Bridge Road approaching Sapphire Street. The male subject was identified as Samaniego. A records showed Samaniego to have an active warrant. Samaniego was taken into custody without incident. Deputies found Samaniego to have been in possession of a pipe with residue, two plastic bags containing meth traces and three small pebbles of crystal which field tested positive for methamphetamine. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
