Transient Arrested During Traffic Stop After Failing To Provide ID

On Monday March 7th at approximately 6:36 PM James Franklin Partin, a transient, was arrested at Willow Avenue and Emerald Drive after he was contacted as a driver of a gray 1981 GMC Van displaying a registration expiration sticker of 2015.

During a traffic stop and refused to show his drivers license when required by law.

A record check revealed Partin to have a suspended Arizona Drivers Licenseense and Fictitious Idaho Licenseense Plates returning to a 2006 Ford F250 Truck on his van. A VIN check returned the vehicle to have no registration found, title only.

Partin was charged with Driving on a Suspended Licenseense, Displaying a Fictitious Licenseense Plate, and Failure to Show ID or Provide Truthful Name.

The van was towed from the scene by Camel Towing.

Partin had a dog in the vehicle which was transported to the Humane Society for Safekeeping.
