Two More Arrests Made During Investigation Into Remaining Stolen Firearm From Pawn Shop

Wednesday February 3rd at approximately 7:30 PM, 20-year-old Dustin Lee Duke Cary aka “Dustin Duke” and 18-year-old Destiny Amber James, both out of Lake Havasu City were arrested at an apartment in the 1200 block of Anacapa Drive.

Dustin Cary was contacted in reference to a stolen firearm and was found to be lying to officers while being questioned. During search incident to arrest, Dustin was found to be in possession of a glass methamphetamine pipe which tested positive for meth.

A lawful search warrant was drafted for the residence and as a result, both Dustin and Destiny were charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony), Possession of Dangerous Drugs x2 (Felonies) and Possession of Prescription Only Pills (Misdemeanor).
