Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Lane Craig, 68, of Desert Hills, Monday (1/16) morning for aggravated assault per domestic violence, a felony. Approximately 7:50 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in the 3000 block of N Erwin Lane. While enroute, dispatch advised that the reporting party said that her fiancé pushed her into a dresser. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a 68-year-old female victim. Deputies requested for medical to respond as the victim was in pain. The victim advised that Craig, her fiancé, and she were arguing when he pushed her into a dresser where she fell to the ground. Deputies contacted Craig. During conversations with Craig, he said that the victim got in his face while arguing and he pushed her. A computer history check showed Craig to have two prior domestic violence arrests. Craig was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
